What makes the volcano vaporizer so good

I went with th MFLB due to price, portability, and mainly to avoid the larger investment without knowing if I would even enjoy vaping. I must say, I do like vaping, and I love the Launch Box. As much as I love the Launch Box though, I really wanted the option of pulling bigger hits while in the privacy of my home. So, I decided to buy the Volcano, and it has completely convinced me to stop smoking. The taste is amazing, and it is so simple to operate.

I purchased the Classic, mainly because I really prefer the looks and simple design. After reading other posts, and learning that the Classic performs the same as the Digit, and that the Digit has a 30 min kill switch, my mind was made up. I opted for the Solid Valve, which works great, but I would like to experience the Easy Valve for comparison. I have never vaped from any other unit, so I really cannot compare, but I will say that if you require complete stealth, you should consider the MFLB.

It is super well built and comes with an unconditional lifetime warranty. If you want what is considered by most to be the best vape on the market, and love big volume hits, you should consider the Volcano Classic or Digit. You will probably find like I did, that you will want both a stay at home and a portable device. I would just suggest that you do your research before you buy. I read a ton of forums and watched a lot of videos to see what experienced users thought. From what I have seen, there are a lot of really good vapes on the market, and not all cost what the volcano does.

Whatever you vape with, you will be happy, and your lungs will thank you. I will never smoke again, unless vaping is not an option. This is a reminder to me to write a post on the Magic Flight. My biggest gripe is how fast it tears through batteries. I agree that the batteries do drain quickly. I purchased 4 new batteries and only use each for about 3 to 5 draws. I found that if you try to squeeze every bit of juice from the battery, it will prematurely go bad.

Additionally, by continually using fresh batteries, you will get more consistent hits. Thanks for your initial reply to my post. The Volcano is the first product that I have ever used that I wanted everyone to know about. I paid extra bucks and bought digital and that was the best decision in my life. I have temperature chart next to my Volcano and my friends can just explore what is the difference and they like to know what temperature they are using preciesly. I like celsius for blue cheese strain and maybe little bit higher for northern lights to make me really smashed in a blink of an eye.

I also endorse the classic over the digital, for all of the reasons mentioned above, as well as the fact that they used buttons instead of switches for the digital, which get stuck and can be very frustrating. As the numbers on the classic obviously represent temperatures, once you have learned how to use the classic, the display is not needed.

I saved for 3 months beausce I only wanted the best. Well, I beleive it paid off beausce I love this thing.. I found I am using half the amount of herb needed to feel the buzz.

My Volcano has literally paid for itself. This does not mean that the vapor is not potent though, because it sure is! I found the flavor with concentrates to be much more pronounced than dry herbs in the Volcano, even after sitting in the bag for a minute or two. Like dry herb vapor, the vapor produced with concentrates is also super smooth. I found the concentrate vapor from the Volcano was much smoother compared to other methods of consuming concentrates like an oil rig or a dab pen.

Both the Volcano Classic and Volcano Digital have in my opinion the best build quality out of any electrically operated vaporizer on the market period.

The exterior of the unit is constructed out of stainless steel, with any plastic portions being a very high quality durable temperature resistant material.

A lot of the time, vaporizers will drop the ball with their controls. The buttons, switches, or dials found on other vaporizers can sometimes feel really cheap and poorly implemented. This is not the case with the Volcano. Storz and Bickel is a big name in the industry for a reason.

They only put out quality products and the Volcano was their first example of the hard work and dedication this company puts into designing quality vaporizers.

The actual Volcano unit itself requires very little maintenance, if any. No vapor or material should actually make any contact with the vaporizer itself. The only parts that require cleaning are your Easy Valve or Solid Valve bag systems. There is an air filter on the bottom of the unit that will have to periodically be changed, but this is something that only needs to be done once every years as the air filters will last awhile.

You simply throw away the bag and mouthpieces when they are finally too dirty to be used anymore. In general, you can get about a few months per bag, depending on your usage. The filling chamber is the only part of the whole system that needs to be cleaned.

The screen can simply be replaced and the whole unit can be soaked in warm soapy water or alcohol to fully clean it. I like just picking up a set of Easy Valve Balloons every year and not having to worry about anything else really.

Nothing besides the bags are thrown out when you clean the Solid Valve. The Solid Valve filling chamber and mouthpiece can both be taken fully apart to be cleaned and serviced. In general, all the pieces just need to be soaked in warm soapy water or isopropyl alcohol. This section is going to list out what accessories you will get in the box with your vaporizer.

The accessories you get with your Volcano are primarily dependent on whether you pick the Solid Valve or the Easy Valve. The Volcano Classic and the Volcano Digital both offer a 3 year warranty on defects and flaws in the materials or workmanship of the vaporizer. It could be longer, but in general the Volcano is one of the most reliable vaporizers on the market.

The chances of you actually needing to warranty your Volcano vaporizer are very slim. To conclude the review, we are going to break down the pros and cons of the Volcano vaporizer. I typically leave my Volcano Classic on all day long, and while Storz and Bickel does not recommend this practice, myself and many others in the vaping community online have had no such issues. The Volcano has been proven time and time again to be an all around reliable unit.

It just works, and it works amazingly well at that. I would personally recommend this vaporizer to someone who has group use in mind, or is looking for an easy to use and reliable vaporizer.

As complicated as the Volcano looks, it is actually super simple to use. And this makes it truly one of the greatest vaporizers on the planet because ANYONE can use it — and the setup, from installing a bowl to taking a hit from the balloon, takes literally minutes.

The entire vaporization process literally takes just a couple of minutes. And if you opt for the Hybrid model, you can use the vaporizer in whip-mode, meaning you can attach a hooker-style pipe and vape instantly.

This would be the 1 reason to go with the Hybrid over the standard model. The second big thing is the overall vapor quality. Because of the nature of how the vaporizer works, the vapor is smooth and extremely palatable. It also retains ALL of its flavors, so whatever you vaporize tastes exactly as it should.

And because of the ballon system, the vapor is never too hot. Like the porridge Goldilocks finds, it is just perfect every darn time. Personally, I much prefer using dry herb materials inside it. This thing vaporizes everything in seconds, filling the ballon in just a few short moments.

That means excellent battery life and constant, unwavering performance whereby everything is heated exactly the same every time. For me, this is easily the biggest benefit of going the desktop vaporizer route. Designed and manufactured in Germany with medical grade parts, the Volcano has all the certifications and track record of long-lasting devices -- our review comes almost twenty years after its initial release.
